Dear Katrina,

Hi, how are you doing? My dog turned 3 in June. I also learned the Hawaiin Wedding Song in hula. It is so slow, and it hurts my knees. I wish it was faster.

I also went to Disneyland. I went with my Grandma Aiko and my mom. I rode Alice and Wonderland, the boats, Casey Jr., the Ferris Wheel, and lots more. I played games too. It was so fun. I slept over at my friend’s house. Their names are Olivia and Julia. I want to go there again.

When I was in LA, I also went to Del Coranado. I ate there. We went to the beach there, and the sand at the beach was so soft. There was gold called mika in the sand. We had it all over our hands.

My trip was so much fun. I wish you could have gone too. I was sad that I had to leave. But I was happy to see you.

Dear Aaron,

My Vacation was awesome! I went to the moon. Then I went to the state fair. I went swimming at raging waters. After that I went to Great America. I went to a skate park Day to of my summer vacation. I went to Six Flags. Then I went to Disney Land! Then I came home and built my own water park! Last day of summer! I had to build my own skate park! After that I had a big buffet. That night I got ready for school the next day. I cant wait till next summer!

September 10,2009 Dear Kristi, How are you? I am having a fantasy vacation with Selana Gomez . We took a stroll and visited the president along the way in his work office. Later on for a snack we had gelato ice cream in Italy. After that we went swimming in a private swimming for us only. Then we had to perform in front many people. Many people shouted at us and asked us to sign are autographs. By the time we were done signing are hand as all swollen. We then went to Disney Land and went on many different rides. We went on the Alice Wonderland teacups , the elephant ride, and much more. After that we went to the moon for dinner. We had space crabs, Moon rocks, and fried aliens. I wish you could have came. Dear Micah,

I had a great vacation from our school and went to go visit Washington D.C. We went to the White House and had a tour with other citizens. It costed around $1,500 to go with the tour guide though. We saw the vice president and President Obama in person. How was your vacation?

On the tour, we saw three floors. They were the living room, Kitchen, and a mail room. The other floors were forbidden. The backyard was really pretty and had royal monuments, same as the other rooms. They had lots of artifacts of the former presidents. The stairs were at least 1 ton on cement. Then I was done.

I went to a five star hotel!!!! It was called the Washington 5. There was a nice view. The employees respected me. The hotel was great!!!

After that, I took a lot of pictures and put it in my vacation picture book with my parents who let me go.

I think the trip to Washington D.C. was cool. I hope other people enjoy their family vacations over the summer.

Dear Shelby,

Hi Shelby, how are you? I had a great summer. I went to Disneyworld and rid all the rides! I saw Shamu performed lots of tricks. I was in the front row so, I got soaking wet. I also went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. I watched all the shows and rode the Medusa. Everyone was screaming. It hurt my ears. That was the first month.

Next month, I went to my cousin’s house in L.A. I swam in a freezing cold pool. I went to Universal Studios and went on the set of Mummy (the movie) and on the set of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

On the last month, my brother had a huge birthday and a lot of people fell in the pool. His party was wild! Then, a rapper, Eminem, rapped for him. I just stayed upstairs with all my friends playing Wii. It was a cool summer vacation.

Dear Katie,

My vacation was three days in Hollywood. I went to see all kinds of sites there. Trust me, there were a lot of sites. I went to three of them, but there are like a hundred sites. And that was only the first day.

Day two was going to half the studios. It was really fun. I even got to meet some characters. They were very nice. Day two was probably the best day ever.

Day three was seeing the rest of the studios. There were not very many studios. It wasn’t very fun.

That was the end of my vacation.

Dear Gabrielle,

I went to a place called Death Falls Where the Water Is Red. It seamed like the best place for a vacation at the time. It took two days to get there .When I got there the first thing I did was go to the falls.

When I got there the water was actually red, in the middle of the water fall there was a red heart and a vacation. I went into the water and I saw a creature that was black, blue, and red it was in the middle of eating a human! And then the people turned into the beastly fish and made it twice as big.
I got out the water really fast and got back into my hotel. I got my money and bought a fishing pole and some bait. Then I went fishing and waited three hours and then I finally got a bite. It was so exciting! I realed him in I took the fish and I gave it to the president and said president I have captured a never before seen creature . Now I am a millionaire!

I want to tell you about my trip to Candy Land. In Candy Land I swim in a chocolate swamp, drink lollypop swirl, and see the Candy Cane kingdom. I will also go through the Gingerbread forest. It is very fun! Now let me tell you about my house, my room is made out of gumdrops but my bed is made out of feathers, it is absolutely comfy. I wish you can see it! Please write back soon!

I found a lottery ticket in the garbage that wasn’t scratched yet. I grabbed a penny and scratched it. I found a seven, seven, and a seven. I scratched the last box and I got a seven! So I got $900,000,000! So I got a huge house, 2 tigers, 10 HD TVs, and 10 SUVs and 2 limos. I’ll give you $1,000 to you. After this, I gave $100 to every homeless person in the area. Then, I gave $1,000 to five schools. Next, I got a bunch of workers to help plant trees. I will have a big party, and you are invited and tell Tim he is invited to. Every one will get a ten feet long and ten feet tall HD TV. You will also get a personal chef, waiter, butler, a limo, driver, and a cleaner. You will also get a robot that can do anything. So that is what you will get. That is my summer vacation.

Dear Isaac,

I would like to tell you about my fantasy vacation. So here it goes. I would like to go in a space shuttle to the moon and jump really high because there is no gravity! Also I would like to take some space rock from the moon and bring it back down to Earth and show it to my classmates.

Then,

I would like to tell you what spending a day making a lightsaber with Yoda because he is short and he has wrinkly skin like me and I’m short. Also I’d like to fight droids on the dark side with my new lightsaber and become a Jedi Master.

Third,

I would like to spend a day with GSP (George St. Pierre because I would like to go see him fight in the Octagon because I’ve always like to go see a real fight in the Octagon. Then maybe he could teach me some moves and then I could fight off the school bully.

I am going to tell you about my dream vacation to New York. In New York I would explore and go see new things.
The new things I would explore is the Statue of Liberty because I have never seen it before and it would be very cool. Other things I would go see is the malls, the state, and see the homes. Why I would go do these things is because I have never there and because I want to see what its like to be in New York.

Also, I would go to New York because get to meet new people and make new friends so that I wouldn’t be board. That’s why I would go to New York and for the Fourth of July. Also, that’s why I would like New York.

On my summer vacation I took a trip to the Bahamas. I did things like going to the beach, I rode in a limo, and I went swimming. Alex won the lottery and gave me 1000 dollars and I am giving you 500 dollars

Dear Calvin,
I went to Santa Cruz for my vacation. I went to my mom’s friend’s son’s apartment. We stayed there till Saturday. The next day we went to Boardwalk. Over there at Boardwalk there are a lot of rides there. At Boardwalk there is Bump Cars which is like Bumper Cars. There are Sea Swings, The Fireball, something like a pirate ship but it goes forward and back but there are wheels on it’s sides they help the pirate ship go forward and back higher, something that only goes up and down but me and my mom’s friend’s son had a good view up there but to get on a ride you have to make a silly face to get on a ride or you can’t get ride the ride. Me and my mom ate lunch. Next, we went on more rides and I’ll tell you more rides something that is like riding in a car, something that is almost the same but goes faster, something that hang gliders, and The Big Dipper.
That’s almost all the rides I went on but I forgot the names.

Dear Alexander,

I went to build a roller coaster and it was awesome. My sister, Candice wants to tell on mom for it. I have a platypus named Perry, and I don’t know where he goes. Anyway, my roller coaster was the cool and fast. My pet, Perry was fighting this evil scientist named Dr. Doofensmerts He made a ray that makes the Tri-State area an ice age! Then, I went on the roller coaster and it disappeared. Candace never busted me. My pet, Perry defeated Dr. Doofensmerts, and came back to me like nothing happened.

Death Falls Camp

Dear Yahsmeene,

I went to a place called Death Falls Camp in Ohio. I went there by bus. It took one week to get there. On the way there, we stopped by our Aunt Lina and Uncle Larry’s. They took us to a scary and creepy graveyard that was in their backyard. Some of the gravestones we saw had the names of their children that went to Death Falls Camp and died mysteriously. The only reason I went to my Aunt and Uncle’s was because my parents wanted me to learn a lesson of not going into dangerous places.

When we arrived at Death Falls Camp, I was totally creeped out by the waterfall that had a skull and crossbones floating in midair behind it. When I told others to look at the waterfall, the skull and crossbones disappeared. There is a legend that there are tiny little creatures that live in the water. The legend says that if you go into the water, that you will be eaten up and turn into one of them. My parents and the other children that came to the camp told me to not go into the water. I did not go into the water!! But other children did to see if the legend was true. All of the children that went into the water died and the water turned red.

After we left the camp, my parents told me that they were watching me but I did not know. They told me that I learned my lesson because there were dangerous things around me that I avoided. They were glad that I didn’t die from going into the water after I had been told not to. Now they trust me not to do dangerous things.
