My First Day at Legoland

My first day at Legoland was exciting! My mom, dad, Mark,
John, my grandma, and I went together. We went there because I have never gone to Legoland before. We went there on the date of June 20th. We stayed there until 8:00 p.m. we were all so excited!

While I was at Legoland there were many heart pounding things, like when you take a bite of their apple and cream fries it will send you to heaven …….. literally. There was this scary ride that would make you “SCREAM!” I mean when it goes down it will blow you away. Then I saw this humongous car made out of legos. Can you believe that they took 5,000 legos to build that car? Wow isn’t all that amazing?

Right now I can still remember all the things that happened. All of those things were just examples wait till you see the real deal!

A.L. The cruise to Mexico

One day my father bought 3 tickets to a cruise. About a month later, my mom, dad and m drove to L.A. We stayed at my uncle’s for a day and drove to the shipyard. We almost got lost! At last we found it. The cruise was beautiful! We parked and unloaded our luggage. Then we waited in line to go on the cruise. When we got their, we showed them our tickets and got on the cruise.
Here are the 3 things I want to tell you about the cruise. First, there was a lot o of yummy food. Bread, ice cream and pizza, Also there was a lot of entertainment. I also played golf and I lot of fun too! I visited new places and learned a lot of stuff about Mexico.
Finally, 4 days were over. We left the cruise and walked off the ramp to our car. We placed our luggage in our car and started our trip back to Sacramento. I had great time and I want to go again.

My Boring, Everyday Life

Everyday is a boring day for me. My life is just plain boring. It’s like a cycle; it just repeats itself everyday. But there are some days a smudge more boring than the rest. They mostly are at my house; my house is SUPER boring, especially with my all-working parents and my lazy sister. Let me tell you about one of my most dull days of my life…

I woke up, not knowing what a dull day this was going to be. I brushed my teeth and dressed into what I call my “my boring day clothes”-gray shorts and a brown polo shirt. I ate my breakfast and stared out the kitchen window. Being an impatient girl, I was bored to death waiting and thinking about when my plum tree would finally grow plums. When I finished my breakfast, I started acting hyper, and my dad started yelling at me. (I’m always hyper after breakfast, for some reason.) I started doing homework that my mom prints out for me-math, English, graphs, and studying maps. When I finally got done, I gave my hand some rest and watched some T.V. When it was lunchtime, my mom came home from work. I hugged her tightly and she screamed at me for almost choking her. Then I started making crafts until dinnertime finally came. After dinner, I used the computer until half an hour later. After I shut it down, I showered and brushed my teeth.
I told my sister good-night, hugged my dad, kissed my mom, and started to snore.

That’s a dull day from my life. It happens almost everyday. But most of the time there’s school. My life may be boring, but at lease there’s something to do!

My Day at Six Flags

One day, me, my family, and my cousins went to
Six Flags Marine World. We went to Six Flags for vaca-
tion.We drove by car, all seven of us. It took all long time ,
but it was worth it. It took like two to three HOURS! When
we finally arrived we had so much fun.

When we arrived, we rode on rides like rides you
can get wet on. I really loved the really wet ones. I also
rode on a roller coaster (I’m afraid of heights, but I managed).
I was so scared after wards. I also saw animals like giraffes,
elephants, stingrays, and mostly FISH!I also saw a whale,
a dolphin, and a sea lion show. I really got wet in all of them.
I had to change a lot of times because I could not resist

When we had to go was the saddest part of the day.
I really didnt want to go because I was having so much fun.
We left at 5:00 p.m.When we got in the car, it was hot inside.
It was a long time when we finally got home, we were really
tired. It was really fun day!

The Best Day EVER!
One day I went on a boring eight hour trip with my mom, bro’s, and my dad. We watched a few movies and I almost fell asleep. I played a few games on the PSP. I ate some food, but we finally got to our friend’s house.

We slept over at our friend’s house and then we went to Universal Studios. We saw Terminator 3 in 3-D it was awesome! The next day we went to Disneyland and California Adventureland I went on California screamin’ three times! After we were done we went to the house.

Then, we had to go home on another 8 hour trip home. I had so much fun. I hope I can go again ext year.

Hawaii

I am going to talk about what I did in Hawaii and who went with me. My family went with me. I had a lot of fun. I also swam a lot. This is what I did in Hawaii and who went with me.
I will now tell you what I did in Hawaii. I learned a lot about Hawaii I went scuba diving and saw an ell. I also saw sea turtle. This is what I did in Hawaii.
At the end of the week I went home. Uncle carl found a toad. It was funny. It was also tiring. I can not wait until I go again. This is what happened on the last day of
Hawaii.

Great America

I got up and got dressed. It was my sister’s birthday. We went to Great America. We stopped and ate at Mc Donald’s. Then we stopped to look at Six Flags. Finally, we arrived at Great America.
Once we got to Great America, my sister went on the Merry-Go-Around. Then, we went on the bumper cars. We went on it two times. After that, we went on. The Delta Flyer to get a view of Great America. Then, I went on the Phyco Mouse and got a bit terrified. Finally, we got to see Nickelodian Goes WILD!!! It was dogs VS cats. The dogs won the game.
After that, we went home. We were tired. We took a shower. We put on our clothes and went to sleep.

Horrible Days

I was going to Santa Cruise. It was a three day vacation. I was going with a friend. His name is Jared. He is always playing video games so I usually play alone. When I went to the Board Walk he was always board but my mom said I have to go everywhere with him so I barely got lots of fun on rides. On the Farris Wheel he kept on rocking the car. I was scared. The worst thing is that he won’t be quiet and kept on fighting with his sister. I barely had any fun.

Jared won’t leave me alone!!!!!!!! My mom won’t let me go in the Jacuzzi with out him. We have to sleep in the same room and he keeps him video game on high volume so I so I can’t sleep. At home he keeps following me yelling at me saying,” Danny! Watch me play and beat level 2 or I’m telling!” I have one question. Why?

I might go back because my mom, dad, and brother liked it there. On the ride home it was so boring!!! It took about 10 hours!!! Or that’s what it felt like.

The State fair

One day I went to the state fair with with my aunt and my sister. I went in my aunts car. I went when the fair was going to close on Sunday. We went on the fairswheel all together. We had so much fun. We ate and saw kids get lonched in the air they screemed it was funny. I got cotton candy my sister got a icey. My sister and I went on bumbber cars and in a island shack. Then my sister and aunt and me went home I was tired and so was my aunt and sister.I cant wait until next time

During my summer vacation I went to Carmel. I went to Carmel with James, Robert, and Mrs. Shirley. We went to Mrs. Shirley’s mother and father’s house. It took about five or six hours to get there. We started the trip the afternoon. We were there four days.

It was kind of boring during the trip. Once we got there we had to unpack the car. Once we got done unpacking the car, we just rested, but before we went to bed every day, we went into the hot tub. The next day, like every day, Mrs. Shirley’s father went out with their dog, to go to the gym and walk the dog. Later that day, James and I traded pokemon on our Pokemon games on both of our DSes. Before that, Robert and I dueled with our Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. On the third day, we went to the Carmel Sports Center. There we went to a place with two indoor swimming pools. They also had an indoor water slide. I went on it six times. I raced Robert once, but lost. Once we got back to the house, we just rested, watched tv, and I played my DS. Tomorrow, on the last day, we only had time to pack, have breakfast, and watch tv.
On the trip back it was boring to, but not as boring as the way there. We went to In an Out Burger for lunch. I only had French fries there, so I got Carls Jr. for lunch. Once we got back, I had to wait about three ours to get back to my house.

MY SCARIEST DAYS EVER
I once took a trip to Pennsylvania. My mom, dad, little brother Henry, my little sister. Charlotte and I went. Our cousins Gavin and Isabel visited to. We had lots of fun in Pennsylvania. But, it would be the scariest day ever for me.
Later, when Gavin and I were in the basement, we were looking through a small window, when a bat slammed it! “Aaaaa!!” I shouted. Then the lights went out. “Thump.” “Thump.” “Thump.” I got really scared. “Ooooo!” “BAM!!!” We thought a ghost saved us. We named him Fred. That night I got scared to go to bed.
The next morning we went in the basement. There was no sign of Fred. But, then we heard some more strange noises. “Clang!” “Clang!” We looked by the washing machine. The noises continued. We ran up the stairs.
The next day we went outside. We saw a truck that said Fred on it. “That’s odd.” said Gavin. Soon we went home. I’ll never forget Fred.

San Diego by Berry
This summer I went San Diego for a basketball tournament. I watched lots of DVD’s wile I was going.
When I got to the hotel I saw bunk beds and a Nintendo 64. I played boxing, snowboarding, mariocart, papermario, basketball, and skatebording. When I went to the pool I slid down the pole from the stairs and landed in the water. It was very fun. Then I went to the jacuz’e.It had lots of bubbles and it was very hot. The basketball courts were clean and nice. The hoops were very tall and blue. I had a great time in San Diego but next time I want to go to trophies.

Swimming Championships

I had the most fun at swimming champions. You should try it.
Everyone who wants to go to swimming champions on the team can go. My dad drove me to swimming champions. It was in Roseville in Sierra College. I had a lot of fun. Championships were for two days. Saturday and Sunday. It was exciting. A lot of swimmers on my team are fast. Our team got second place. Our team is called the Stingrays. The strokes are butterfly, backstroke, breastroke, and freestyle. I was excited because I got to the finals in every stroke I did. I got second place in freestyle at championships.
I had a great time at swimming championships. I can’t wait until next year.

Museum

I was so excited when I was told I and my family was going to the Chicago Museum. We were going by plane so it wouldn’t take long.
We finally got there. We went to the earth exhibit. There we saw a screen with mammoths. In the ocean exhibit there was a tank which shows which shells floats. And in the Hawaii exhibit there was cooled lava so you could touch it. It was really great.
It was fun. I couldn’t wait until we went again.

Disneyland

My dad, my mom, my sister, my brother, and I planned to go to Disneyland one last time for the summer. So we invited my sister’s friend to come with us. We left in the morning, 7:08, July 18, 2007. We took a plane there.

On our way we stopped to eat at this breakfast place at the airport. Then, we got on the plane. We looked outside, played video games, and slept on the way there. We arrived there in Disneyland in the afternoon.

We went to the Grand Californian Hotel. The Grand Californian is right next to Disneyland. We went on California Screaming. We also went on the Tower of Terror. Space Mountain was fun too. The Grizzly was super fun. That’s what we did at Disneyland.

We left later. We got our stuff all packed. We also got all our stuff in the plane. We played D. S. s. We looked outside too. My brother and I battled in Pokemon Diamond and pearl. Disneyland was super fun!

San Diego

This summer I went to San Diego. I went there with my mom, my, brother and nana. We went there for a day trip. We left to get there at seven-o-clock in the morning. We got there by plane.

When we got there, we took a trolley to old town San Diego. In old town we saw a very old public school. Also, we saw a very old house from the 1800’s. It was very cool.

Later, we went to Dick’s Last Resort for a late lunch. After lunch We went to the seaside. There was a microscope there for us to look through. It was very nice.

Then we caught a cab back to the Airport. We walked to our gate and went home. It was a great trip. I hope to go there again.

My Cruise to Mexico

One day, I woke up early in the morning. We all went and got dressed and brushed our teeth. We went in the car and drove six hours to Los Angeles. On the way, we saw mountains and farm houses. I was bored for looking outside. I wanted to read books but, I could not because it is in my suitcase.

When we got there, we were at Long Beach. We went to the sign-up place and got on the boat. It felt good in the breeze. What we did first was that we ate lunch. After, we went to our room. It looked so wonderful. We went back out and played in the arcade. Then, we went outside. I felt the cool breeze. I was walking. When we got to the sports section, we played golf. At night, we watched movies. It was great!

Last, we went back home the way we came from. It was fun!!!!!!!!

My Favorite Vacation

When I go to Santa Cruz, I go with my family and friends. I get there by car. It takes about two hours to get there. We make one stop for lunch. I was so excited when we got there.

When we got there we unpacked the car. When we were done unpacking, we went upstairs and we got ready to swim. After we got on sunscreen we jumped in the pool. While we were in the pool, we had races and cannon ball contests. I like swimming because it is fun. I also like going to the beach because I get to catch clams and go boogy boarding. Another thing I like is having sleepovers. I like it because I like talking to my friends at night.

I didn’t like the ride home. I didn’t like the ride home because I wanted to stay because I think Santa Cruz is very fun I’m sure we are going to go again. I really like to go to Santa Cruz. I can’t wait to go back again.

My First Camping Trip

I went camping for my first time, this summer. It was very fun. Who went was Benny and Andres. They are brothers, their little brother, Victor also came. Debanhi and Santiago also came. They are brother and sister too. My brother came too, my Dad did not come, he was on a trip. Everyone’s parents came. We listened to music and slept. We left at 7:00 and we were there at 12:00, and I was not even tired. We stayed there for two days fun days. We went there just for fun.

What we did was go hiking because there was a hiking trail. We saw a river, and by the river there were BERRIES! There also was a swimming pool. We swam for a long time. There was a snack shop nearby so we ate nachos and other stuff. We also went to the arcade we played games for a long time. It was very fun!!

It was a long way back, but it was worth it. We had tons of fun. On the way back we listened to music. When we came back we were so tired. We went to sleep. It was the best weekend of my life.

Mark My Cousin’s Birthday I was going to my cousin’s birthday by car. My cousin’s birthday took plays at the city in San Jose. My parents, sister, brother, aunt, and uncle are going too. I thought it was going to be my worse day ever. I was going to be staying at my cousin’s house for two days (so were my parents and everyone who was going with me)! Once I got to my cousin’s house I played with their Wii which I don’t know how to use. After I got the hang of it I played against one of my cousins. She was very good but I won most of the time. I had a lot fun. At about six thirty. The party started. The cake tasted very good. When the party ended at eleven thirty my cousins, uncles, and aunts had a tournament against each other by using the Wii. It was a bad thing that I had to go at the middle of the game (I already did my turn). I had such a great time that I wanted to stay till the tournament ended. My mom said that we may be coming back until three years!

MY TRIP TO DISNEYLAND

On summer vacation, I went to Disneyland.First, we packed up. That took a good hour. Then, when we finally went, it took forever
to get there.

When we finally got there , we were tired. We slept in the hotel across the street from Disneyland. At Disneyland , we had a lot of fun. My favorite ride was California Screamin’. I also liked Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain and Indiana Jones.

When we drove back, I was happy because Disneyland was fun.

My Trip to China and Japan

I went to China and Japan last year with my mom and dad with my friend and his mom. We went there because my mom wanted to go and to meet here mom and dad. It took us 12 hours to get to Japan while I was playing the seat computer with my friend Chris.

When I got there, I went to Japan first with everybody. We met my mom’s friend there with a man who was very nice. We went to a hotel that was very nice. After a little while, we went to some mountains and we walked almost a mile. After that, I went to China, but Chris and his mom stayed in Japan for a little longer. We spent 2 hours on the plane. We finally got there, my mom’s sister took us to her mom’s house. When we got there we went to eat some food. After we went to eat some food, I went to my grandpa’s new house I had a lot of fun there. Then, I went back home. After a few weeks later, I went to Dalian. I went to a hotel next to the ocean with my mom and dad. I played a gun game to get a dolphin next to the hotel. After a few more weeks, I went to another place in China. I went to the merry-go-round. I played bumper cars. I also played racing. I went to another place and played horse riding with my parents. Finally, I went back to Sacramento which took 12 hours.

I really enjoyed the time I had in China again. I had a lot of places to go which was fun.

Great America

My best day of summer is when I went to Great America with my mom. We drove two hours away. When I was in the car I mostly slept. We went on Sunday, September 2, 2007. We got there on time so we were there when it opened and left when it closed. I was excited!

When I was there I went on really scary rides, which I liked. I also went on fun rides, too. I loved all the rides, but I loved the food. I had a cheese burger it was really good! We did not get to go on two rides, which we wanted to go on. We still got to go on many rides!

Before Great America was closed my mom and I saw tons of fireworks. I had lots of fun. I hope I go there again.

Monterey By: Elizabeth

At 7:30 a.m. my family and I got up to go to Monterey. We piled into our purple van and drove off. After three hours of driving we finally parked our van.

My family and I walked to the trolley stop. My mom met some of her friends there and they talked for a little bit. When we finally got on a trolley it was crowded. We were squished and standing up. We got off the trolley at the Monterey aquarium. It took twenty minuets to get inside and once we were inside we had to pay eighty – one dollars!

There were sharks, orcas, whales, and dolphins on the ceiling. We walked to the otter exhibit and watched the otters for a little bit. Then we went to eat lunch. While I was eating I looked out of my window and saw two seals sitting on a rock. One was a sea lion, and the other one was a harbor seal. After eating lunch we walked to the shark exhibit. There was a hammerhead, great white, and a weird looking sunfish. After looking at the sharks we walked to the jellyfish exhibit. The jellyfish exhibit had all kinds of jellyfish. Small jellyfish, big jellyfish, even light up jellyfish!

Once we got on a trolley heading to our van. We drove to a beach, but before we could reach the sea we had to climb down a steep hill. Instead of climbing down my little sister and I slid down. The ocean was cold but my little sister and I went into the water with our clothes on. When a wave came it knocked me over and I went under water for a second. That happened two times and after the second time I felt ready to go home. So we climbed back up the hill, dried up, and drove off. It was a long way home and once we were home I was almost asleep.

When my mom opened the van door I walked out. My dad had already opened the door to the house so I walked in, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. That night I dreamed about all the fun I had and how I couldn’t wait to go back to Monterey.

MY BORING VACATION

MR.D gave a stupid assignment to write about
vacations. But I had no vacation and I did nothing. All I did was play on the computer , watch TV, and playing video games. So I told MR.D or he found out by himself. He forced me to it so I did. In my vacation I had to do some chores I never did them. I hope my next vacation is fun.

Championship Swim Meet

My team was named Stingrays, and we wear black and blue striped swimsuits. My dad drove my two sisters and I to the Championship swim meet. Before my team really went racing, we went to warm ups. When we do warm ups we did all of the strokes, and we would either do two or one lap to get used to the cold water, but it also felt good because it was going to be a hot day. This is why my team and I did warm ups.

Then, we started to really swim. We had to wait till it was time for me to race against the other team. Swimmers do all of the strokes, but most people of six and under on a swim team they would only do freestyle and backstroke. I swam a lap of breast stroke, a lap of butterfly, a lap of back stroke, and two laps of freestyle. This was what I swam at the Championship
Swim meet.

On my swim meet team I had friends, and my friends are Elizabeth, Alyssa, Kweku, Sydney, and Kaitlin. Sometimes I play with them or I would talk to them. It is good to see my friends. When we swim we would cheer for each other while they’re swimming against the other teams. After we would swim we would wait for each other, and then we would play again with each other. We would keep doing that until it is till the end, and when they leave. This is why I thought it was nice to see my swimming friends.

These are going to be some things why I liked it. I like to see my friends at swimming. It was good to swim in the pool because it was really hot. This is why I like that day.

My Little Brother’s Birthday

On August 2, 2007 it was my little brother’s birthday. We were very happy. First we went to Pizza Hut. We had to wait a little while for everyone to get there but they got there!:).We had pepperoni pizza it was good. Christian (my little brother) had a Spiderman cake. It was a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. Then after that he opened his presents. He was happy with what he got.

Then we were on our way to Raging Waters. But before we went we got a noodle to swim with. O.K. so we finally got to Cal Expo. We went to the gate and had to pay for the tickets. Then we went in and we had to sign a paper and get a picture for a season pass. Then we all finally met up and found a somewhere to sit. Then the little kids got ready and went in the wave pool. They liked it a lot. I went in with them but I went in sort of farther than them.

Then after that my friend and I went in the never-ending river. She asked me if I wanted to go on the great white water slide. I said O.K. so we went on it. After that I played with my little brother for a while. Finally we got ice-cream and went home.

Raging Waters

The best day of my summer is when I went to Raging Waters. I went with my brother, his mother and his cousin, and his other cousin. Raging Waters is in Roseville it was about an hour or less drive.
When we got there we waited in line, when we got there to the front of the line it was less money if we waited. So we waited and we all got Gatorade or a soda from the venting machine got Gatorade.

Then we got inside and found a table to sit in. Then my brother and I went in a pool that pushes you and you can’t really go back. There was a ride it was white and round like it was kind of like a taco shape. It was so fun. When the man pushed us down and my heart dropped in my stomach. It dropped because you got pushed down very far. It was called the Half Pipe because it was shaped like a. My brother and his cousin went on the ride with me.

I went on a ride call the Dark Hole it was green on the outside and well no one really knows what the color in the inside is but it was very fun. When you go down you don’t know where you’re going it’s just like you are riding on a skateboard down a hill or mountain. Now that was my favorite ride. I hope I go next year.
